PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) is responsible for the security of Singapore’s borders against the entry of undesirable persons and cargo through our land, air and sea checkpoints. Aside from border security, ICA also performs immigration and registration functions such as the issuing of travel documents and identity cards to Singapore citizens. ICA also issues various immigration passes and permits to foreigners. As a security agency, ICA also conducts operations against immigration offenders.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

​The new Woodlands Health Campus envisions pers​on-centric and quality healthcare for the community of the future by integrating three components – SMART technology, green spaces for patient healing and a strong ecosystem for community care. Set to open progressively from 2022, the health campus will be an expansive healing environment which will extend beyond the physical walls of the hospital. Minister for Health Mr Gan Kim Yong officiated the Groundbreaking Ceremony today.

Woodlands Health Campus is the first hospital in Woodlands. Located along Woodlands Drive 17 and occupying a land space of 7.66 hectares or about 11 football fields, the hospital will serve the northern population.

The new Woodlands Health Campus will comprise an integrated Acute and Community Hospital, Specialist Outpatient Clinics and a Long-Term Care Facility.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Family Justice Courts (FJC) is a grouping of courts in the judicial system of Singapore that comprises the Youth Courts, Family Courts and High Court (Family Division). The Youth Courts hear cases related to children and young persons, the Family Courts hear all family proceedings except cases that fall under the Youth Courts, and the Family Division of the High Court primarily hears appeals against the decisions of the Family Courts and the Youth Courts.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This is the first building of the new Singapore General Hospital (SGH), and home to the new National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS). Having more than one institution under one roof is part of our strategic plan to bring our services together, to optimise resources and to operate as one integrated system.

With SGH as the epicenter, a new model of integrated care is being developed on this Campus. We are bringing together the best of 5 national specialty centres and all the benefits of an Academic Medical Centre to our patients. Together with the Outram Community Hospital, we are providing care across the entire continuum, to return patients to their home or community.

In this new home, NDCS will provide tertiary care and dentistry education backed by research and smart technology. This new SGH Elective Care Centre will improve patients’ access to surgery, outcomes and experience, from having facilities and processes dedicated to scheduled surgeries.

Siltronic, one of the technology leaders in silicon wafer manufacturing, broke ground for its new manufacturing facility at JTC’s Tampines Wafer Fab Park in Singapore.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

SINGAPORE-based e-commerce firm Shopee has opened its new headquarters at Science Park as it looks to hire more talent and strengthen its presence across South-east Asia and Taiwan. The new building has an office space of 244,000 square feet across six floors and is expected to house up to 3,000 employees. Shopee, a unit of New York-listed Sea, currently employs more than 1,000 staff. In addition to workspaces and a cafeteria, the building houses a 3,000 square feet gymnasium, a mini arcade and a dinner catering service. Shopee was previously located at Ascent in Science Park, with part of the team working out of Sea’s headquarters at Galaxis in one-north.

Micron Technology, Inc. is an American producer of computer memory and computer data storage including dynamic random-access memory (DRAM), flash memory, and USB flash drives.

Micron Singapore has two wafer fabrication sites in North Coast Drive and Woodlands. The two fabs form its largest manufacturing footprint outside of the US. Micron Singapore employs more than 7,000 highly-skilled workers.

Silicon Box is an advanced semiconductor integration startup, specialising in cutting-edge semiconductor integration services. The company is capable of delivering full execution, from initial design to final manufacturing of chiplets.

Silicon Box opened its $2 billion advanced semiconductor manufacturing foundry in July 2023. Silicon Box will hire and train up to 1,200 high-level employees, with the support of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). The 73,000 sqm facility in Tampines will boost Singapore’s position as a global hub for semiconductor manufacturing.

Minebea Electronics in Lopburi started production in 1988, making electronic devices and components such as magnetics heads and PM stepping motors.

Ibiden was founded in 1912.The Japanese electronics company manufactures electronics-related products, such as printed circuit boards and IC packaging. The company also makes ceramics products, including particulate filters for diesel engines, for which it has a 50% market share in Europe. Customers include Apple, Intel and Groupe PSA (PSA Peugeot Citroën).
Ibiden Philippines, Inc. (IPI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ibiden Japan, with its plant located in the province of Batangas, Philippines. It is primarily engaged in the production of semiconductor packages for computers, communications and other application specific devices since August 2000.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Established in 1921, Shimano today globally operates three key businesses, with sales offices and factories all over the world. Shimano will continue supplying “captivating products” to help promote the bicycle and sports fishing cultures.
Shimano (Philippines) Inc. is incorporated in 2013 as a subsidiary of Shimano Singapore. The factory is located at First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP), Tanauan City, Batangas. The 13.03-hectare facility manufactures various bicycle components mainly for the export market. The facility employs 1,000 workers.

P.T. Shin-Etsu Polymer Indonesia is mainly involved in the production and sales of Silicon Wafer Shipping Boxes.
